About Hopes for Training, Education and Development
At Hopes for Development, our mission is to empower individuals in impoverished communities to build better futures. We do this by providing access to education, vocational opportunities, and holistic support—including social, economic, and psychological assistance. Driven by our commitment to detail, we aim to help teams and individuals thrive, regardless of their size or resources.
Our main facilities and team base is in Jerash Refugee Camp (“Gaza Camp”) in Jerash, Jordan (45 min from Amman). This facility aims to serve the ~40 000 refugees from Gaza, housed in the camp.
While we aim to assist with immediate relief, our main focus is on training, development and creating sustainable livelihoods so that these individuals and families are able to break the cycle of poverty and trauma.
